We Name & Shame 6 Republicans Who FLIPPED on ObamaCare Repeal, By Caleb Parke

Republican senators failed to pass a “straight repeal” bill on ObamaCare after promising just that for the last seven years.

Senators Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and John McCain were among the Republican lawmakers who betrayed the American people. They colluded with Democrats to ensure that Obamacare would remain the law of the land.

We gave the Republicans control of Congress and the White House with a simple mandate – repeal Obamacare. And yet they were unable to muster the moral courage to deliver on that promise.

But the worst is Senator McCain. I understand he is a war hero and I also understand he has brain cancer. But that does not give him the right to double cross the American people.

In 2016, he promised to lead the fight to stop Obamacare — that’s what he promised the voters of Arizona. That was a flat-out lie.

Senator McCain is known for insulting his opponents. He called talk radio hosts a bunch of bombastic loudmouths. He called his conservative colleagues wacko birds. And he infamously called Evangelical Christians agents of intolerance.

Well, I’d rather be a bombastic, intolerant, wacko bird than a backstabbing liar.

Seven Republicans voted “no,” keeping bill shy of the 50 votes needed to pass.

The same bill passed under President Obama in 2015, where six of the seven Republicans voted in favor of repeal. The only consistent “no” vote was Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME).
