From the moment of conception to life’s final breath, all human life has God-given dignity and worth. But in a broken world, there are threats to the lives of the most vulnerable. This is why the ERLC is partnering with Focus on the Family to host Evangelicals for Life, an annual conference in Washington D.C. designed to equip followers of Christ to be champions for life in their communities.

This important, two-day event is centered around the annual March for Life, where thousands of people, from all walks of life, stand and speak for those innocent ones silenced by the abortion industry’s knife. This march, which ends at the Supreme Court building, is a peaceful but powerful way for us to remind public officials that the sanctity of human life is an issue of paramount importance.

I want to strongly encourage you to join us this January. We have a unique opportunity to steward our influence and lend our voices to speak on behalf of the most vulnerable among us. When you attend Evangelicals for Life you are not simply attending another conference. You are communicating several things to the watching world:

  • •You value life, even when many in our culture consider life to be something worth discarding if it’s inconvenient.
  • •You are willing to tell our civic leaders that you stand for the sanctity of human life.
  • •You amplify the voices of the vulnerable, especially the unborn.

I encourage you to learn more about the event and the March for Life by visiting our website. We will send more information about the speaker lineup and the conference topics next week.

For now, please pray about joining me, my team at the ERLC, Focus on the Family and thousands of others in Washington D.C. We would love to march alongside you in our nation’s capital next January and then send you home equipped and encouraged to stand for life in your own community.

Sincerely,

Russell Moore, President
Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission
